Speaker: Harriet Lembeck, Wine Educator, President of Wine & Spirits Program Eleven of the wines from this horizontal tasting of 1960’s Bordeaux were superb. While there were problems with some corks, only the 66 Cheval Blanc and the 66 Leoville Barton did not show well. 1961 Chateau Beychevelle was the favorite of the 61’s. 1962 Chateau Ausone was the favorite 62. 1966 Chateau Haut Brion was the favorite 66. 1966 Chateau Mouton Rothschild placed second. All prices were found on the internet.
