White Burgundies Of Jadot

1995 Bordeaux

Thursday July 15, 2004

Speaker: Harriet Lembeck, Wine Educator and author

Wine Spectator rated this vintage a "95." "The warm, wonderful reds have opulent fruit and velvety tannins; harmonious and beautiful." We tasted 12 wines including Haut Brion, Cheval Blanc, Pape Clement, Pichon-Baron, Lynch Bages, Latour a Pomerol, La Fleur Petrus, Troplong Mondot, Le Tertre Roteboeuf, l'Arrosee, Lascombes & Calon Segur.. The wines were bought at auction so the prices are not available. The prices listed were found on the web. Votes were taken for 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place. Cheval Blanc was 1st, Haut Brion was 2nd and Lynch Bages was 3rd.
