Speaker: Junior Merino, The Liquid Chef Taste the Art

Watching Junior Merino create and then having us taste 9 amazing cocktails was fantastic. Coming up Roses was the favorite cocktail. Pina Partida and Nectar Tropical were tied for second place. All the cocktails were creative and delicious. Recipes are for one cocktail per person. Two Cocktails do not have published recipes.

Piña Partida

2 Pineapple chunks
2 English cucumber wheels
2/8 Lemon
¼ oz Agave nectar
2 oz. Partida silver
½ oz. Sprite
Put first four ingredients in a shaker and muddle. Add ice, tequila, and sprite and shake. Pour into a highball and garnish with a slice of cucumber.

1 ½ oz Barsol Pisco Quebranta
½ oz Matilde Crème de Poire
½ oz meyer lemon juice
1 ½ oz aloe vera juice
¼ oz Sonoma infused mint syrup
3 dashes Hermes orange bitters
1 oz brut champagne
Put all ingredients except champagne into a shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain into a martini glass and top off with champagne. Stir.

1/2 of fresh lemon juice
1 oz of tamarind concentrate
10-15 rosemary leaves
2 oz of leblon
1 1/2 oz of barrits ginger beer
Put all ingredients except ginger beer into a shaker. Add ice and shake. Pour into a rocks glass and top off with ginger beer. Stir.

Caribik sun passion fruit concentrate

Lime juice
Pomegranate juice

2 kiwi slices
1 basil leaf
¼ oz elderflower syrup
½ oz Tori Kai soju
1 ½ oz jyumai ginjyou
Put first three ingredients in a shaker and muddle. Add ice, soju, and gingyou and shake. Pour into a highball and garnish with a slice of kiwi.

8 Tarragon leaves
¼ oz Simple Syrup

3 Rose petals
3/6 of a Lime
.5 oz Rose syrup
3 drops Rose water
2 oz Bacardi Razz (raspberry)
2 oz. Sparkling Wine
Muddle first 4 ingredients. Add ice and shake pour into highball, top with champagne and stir gently.
