We all enjoyed a lovely Italian dinner paired with perfectly matched wines. Everyone had a wonderful time. The wines were supplied by Dancing Bear Cellars.

Clear straw yellow color. Fruit in nose with a touch of almond. Full and round on the palate with a long clean finish.

Gualdo Del Re Sangiovese 2001
Rich and decadent with lots of berry, meat and chocolate flavors. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long flavorful finish. Went well with the risotto.

San Giorgio a Lapi Leremo – Super Tuscan 2003
Deep rich red color with a nose of intense scents of vanilla, cinnamon, blueberries and wild blackberries. Elegant on the palate with balanced tannin and acidity for a beautiful lovely finish. Melded perfectly with the Duck in berries sauce.

Fantastic Italian liquor, flavored with herbs and fruits soaked in apricot kernel oil. Amber-colored, with an agreeable almond scent and a pleasant taste which lingers on the palate. 48 proof. A lovely ending to this delightful meal.
