We tasted 13 of the best wines from Argentina. La Puerta Torrentos 2004 was the favorite white. Enrique Foster Malbec Limited Edition 2002 was the favorite red of the tasting. Enrique Foster Malbec Reserve 2002 was second favorite red.

Floral, grapefruit in nose, full fruit in palate, crisp with long finish. The favorite of this flight.

Pale yellow color with green hues. Herbal and mineral aromas with smoky spiciness. Balanced, with some acidity medium finish.

Enrique Foster Malbec Reserve 2002
Estate Grown and bottled 100% Malbec, made of selected grapes from old vines with a production limited to 5000 lbs. per acre. Aged in French and American oak for 12 months and in bottles for an additional six months. Fruity aromas, berry flavors, rich and full bodied, a huge wine. The second red favorite of this tasting.

Enrique Foster Malbec Limited Edition 2002
Numbered, limited edition of estate grown and bottled 100% Malbec. Highly selected grapes from old vines with a restricted production not exceeding 1-1/2 lbs per vine. 100% aged in new French oak for 14- 15 months and in bottles for eight additional months. Elegant deep purple color with bouquet of cherry, blackberry and licorice. The oak and tannins are completely integrated. Very long finish. A wonderful wine. The favorite red of this tasting.
