We all enjoyed a delicious Japanese wine dinner paired with perfectly matched wines. Everyone had a fantastic time. The wines were supplied by Winesellers, Ltd., Valckenberg International, Inc., Barefoot Cellars, New Zealand Winegrowers, W. J. Deutsch & Sons, LTD., Izakaya Ten.

Yellow Tail Sparkling White Wine
Dry & semi-sparkling, very light with a slight almond bitterness to an otherwise ripe fruit taste. This new wine from Yellow Tail was perfect with the sashimi.

Schloss Wallhausen 2006 Two Princes Riesling
The 2006 Riesling is clean and crisp, with medium body and a well-defined, delicate acid. It was a perfect accompaniment with the chicken meatballs.

A crisp and powerful, well balanced wine with intense aromas of passion fruit, blackcurrant and gooseberry. It complemented the spicy Barbeque eel perfectly.

Barefoot Zinfandel
Barefoot Zinfandel is an immense wine with inviting flavors of ripe cherry and wild raspberry. Aromas of vanilla and spice complement the lingering finish. It accompanied the filet mignon beautifully.

ime, slate aroma. Very delicate, elegant, fresh and light with good crisp acidity and a bit of sweetness. Steely, It was perfect with the Chilean sea bass.

Domaine Pinnacle Ice Apple Wine
Gold-amber in colour, with intense apple essence on the nose. Full bodied, sweet and creamy, with a bolt of acidity on the finish. Excellent length. We poured it over the ice cream. Delicious.
