Rated 3, 4 and 5 stars by Michael Broadbent, we presented for your tasting pleasure 12 vintages of First Growth Chateau Margaux: Two votes for favorite were taken for Flight I and 2 votes for favorite for Flight II. The prices were found on the web. Chateau Margaux 1979 was the favorite of Flight I, Chateau Margaux 1983 placed second for Fight I. Chateau Margaux 1982 was the favorite of Flight II and Chateau Margaux 1985 placed second for Flight II. All the wines showed well. It was an amazing tasting of great wines.

Classic Bordeaux nose, a few tannins left. Acid, sharpness in finish. Nice to drink now. |
