Napa Wine Company is a large and highly respected custom crush facility in the Napa Valley town of Oakville. It has been owned and operated by Andrew Hoxsey and his family since 1993. Andrews's family has grown grapes in the Napa Valley since the early 1900s. The family vineyards, 635 acres in Yountville and Oakville, are certified organic.
Napa Wine Company gives Andrew the ability to produce a Napa Wine Company brand from his own grapes as well as allows him to support and encourage artisan winemakers to produce great wines without the enormous costs involved in building their own wineries.

Lamborn Family Vineyards 2000 Zinfandel Howell
Mountain, Napa Valley
This is a fruit forward zinfandel, displaying raspberry and cherry on the front of the pallet, with the darker blackberry fruit in the finish. Round, very mouth filling, with super structure and soft tannins. Complex layers of white pepper and spice components as well. A lovely zinfandel. The favorite of the flight. |

Showket 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville
Napa Valley Deep ruby color. The nose of berry and cassis-like fruit spiced with layers of sweet toasty oak. Lush and very soft in the mouth with tannins that are almost imperceptible. This wine is approachable earlier than usual. The structure is good and it will age well but better to be enjoyed younger with the attractive fruit that is showing now. The favorite Cabernet Sauvignon.
