Vallee Coquette Sparkling Vouvray:
A sparkler produced from Cabernet Franc. Light pink in color with a slight hint of sweetness. Mellow with hints of berries and nice bubbles. At the price an excellent choice for a large party, especially a summer event. |
$8.99 |

2001 Ch. Lamoth de Haux Blanc:
One of my favorite whites and at a reasonable price. A charming crisp blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle. An intriguing nose of straw, grapefruit, and lilacs. Very flavorful and medium finish. A nice aperitif or with lighter fare, it went very well with the crab cakes. |
$9.99 |
 |
2000 Raquillet Mercurey Vieilles Vignes:
Soft and sexy with a beguiling aroma of fresh red berries and a slight floral undertone. Light in weight, but not in elegance or complexity. Long lasting finish. An excellent choice for the roast duck. |
$20.49 |
 |
1998 Haut Mayne Sauternes:
Still young but this is a wine that will develop. Uncharacteristic notes of apples as well as more traditional melons and quince. Some honeyed flavors and a nice structure. |
$18.50 (375 ml.) |
 |
Nisme et Delclou Armagnac:
The quintessential "Velvet Flame." Notes of prunes, toffee, cream and ripe grapes. Easy to drink and a lingering aftertaste.
