Exploring the House of Sandeman

Exploring the House of Sandeman

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

Speakers: Ligia Marques, Sandeman Brand Ambassador

Established in 1790 in London by George Sandeman, the House of Sandeman began by shipping Sherry to Britain and soon entered the Port trade as well. The Sandeman “Don” is one of the world’s first trademark images and is still one of the best known icons in the wine world. Today, Sandeman’s unmatched portfolio of Ports, Sherries and Madeiras is managed by George Sandeman, the seventh generation of Sandeman family to make port. CHARACTER AMONTILLADO SHERRY was the favorite of Flight I. FINE RICH MADEIRA was liked by all, VAU VINTAGE 2000 VINTAGE PORTO was the favorite of Flight II. 40 YEARS OLD TAWNY was the second favorite of Flight II.
