We tasted 4 delightful summer rums from Bacardi and learned how to mix and then enjoyed our 4 hot cocktails. No votes were taken. The tasting notes were provided by Vivian Tramontana for the rums, Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown for the cocktails.

(Bacardi Superior Rum, mint, sugar, lime slices, ice, seltzer) Clear color, flecked with deep green mint and lime. Predominant lime oil and mint nose, slight sparkle, moderate sweetness, notes of vanilla, cane and molasses, mint and lime juice, clean finish.

(Bacardi Select Rum, Coco Lopez, pineapple juice)Dense, creamy bronze color. Coconut and rum nose (pineapple is only present in the nose if used on the rim as a garnish). Big vanilla and caramel underlying the coconut and pineapple. Mildly warming. Creamy, fatty mouthfeel.
