TastersGuildNY Exciting Tasting of Awarding Winning Wines from Familia Zuccardi

Tuesday February 27, 2018

Speaker: Leandro Lowi, Zuccardi Export Manager

Familia Zuccardi is the largest family owned and operated estate in Mendoza Argentina. The family completed an all concrete winery with the largest number of concrete vats all made from the rock of the Andes mountains in the top growing region, Altamira in the Uco Valley, where they ferment and age all Zuccardi wines. Zuccardi wines expresses the essence of the soils and the extreme climate conditions and altitude in which the vineyards are planted. The growth and development of the Zuccardi range was lead by SebastiŠn Zuccardi, third generation winemaker who has committed to present wines with unique identity through the exploration of the terroir in the Uco Valley. In recognition of his commitment the International Wine Challenge awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. Familia Zuccardi believe in family as the core of their estate and this is reflected in the style of their wines. Innovation and old world natural focus are at the heart of what they create.
